Romance! Action! Drama! Comedy! Controversy! The life of Donald Trump has it all - and it's prime fodder for Broadway, a producer says.
Trump's girlfriend, Marla Maples, caused a boom in ticket sales when she joined the cast of the musical "The Will Rogers Follies." And the fuss has made one of the producers think about putting Trump's life to music."It would be a real, real crazy musical, light and frothy, with dancing girls and lavish sets, sort of a Ziegfeld-type production," Pierre Cossette said in the Oct. 12 issue of New York magazine. "Trump is a natural because he's a bigger-than-life person."
Cossette said he has spoken to Trump about buying his story.
