Samuel George Crowford, age 47, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1992, in West Valley City, Utah.
Born June 15, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah a son of Samuel and Lucille Frost Crowford. Married Marlene Allen November 22, 1967; later divorced. Married LuAnn Busby September 3, 1976; later divorced. Sam was a member of the LDS Church serving as a High Priest and also served in many church callings. He served a mission to Northern California and as a temple worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Sam's most prized accomplishment was his relationship with his family and friends. His sense of humor, warmth and compassion will be missed but treasured by those he left behind.
Survived by sons and daughters, Melissa, serving an LDS Mission in Seattle, Washington; Scott, Amberly, Jared, Chelsea, Riley all of West Jordan; good friends Gary and Sue Hughes and children; sister, LuDean Jensen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, 12 noon, Hunter East Stake Center, 5000 West Pavant, (3700 South). Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
