A Murray man was killed when the semitrailer truck he was guiding crushed him late Monday.
Ardell Christensen, 40, was pronounced dead at Cottonwood Hospital after the 11:15 p.m. accident at the Dick Simon Trucking yard, 4656 S. 500 West.According to police, Christensen was guiding a truck as it backed toward the dock. The driver assumed Christensen was out of the way, but Christensen had gotten off the dock and in the truck's path where the driver could not see him.
When the driver got out of the truck he noticed Christensen was pinned between the dock and the trailer.
