A limousine driver is suing rap singer Vanilla Ice for $500,000, saying that the rapper ordered two bodyguards to beat him up last year. David Des Jardins says Vanilla Ice, real name Robbie Van Winkle, ordered the assault after falsely being told that Des Jardins spread rumors about an altercation the rapper had in a Dallas bar several months ago. An attorney for Vanilla Ice and the bodyguards denied the allegation.
