George Mills Stephenson, 81, died December 18, 1992.
Born February 13, 1911 in Lorain, Ohio. A 1933 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD. Married Arlyne Vivian Mehaffey June 15, 1935. He worked as an Industrial/Consulting Engineer, retiring from Uniroyal, Inc. in 1966 and from Day and Zimmerman in 1976. Member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sandy.Survivors: Wife, Arlyne V.; Children, Dr. and Mrs. Gary M. Stephenson; Dr. and Mrs. Dallas O. Minchin; grandchildren, Andrew and Jeffrey Stephenson; Susan A. Minchin, M.D.; Melissa A. Stacchini; Alessandra M. Petersen; also great-grandchildren, Claudia and Pauline Stacchini; Zoe Petersen; sister, Betty Hope Mills; brother, Ralph L. Stephenson.
Funeral Services Monday, Dec., 21, 11 a.m., Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 8575 So. 700 E., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, George Washington Memorial Cemetery, White Marsh, PA.
