Nabisco has a new cracker that is "baked, not fried." Zings are "cracker chips with Zing!" according to the package. The 8-ounce package retails for $1.89 and comes in regular, cheddar and ranch flavors. Nabisco says this cracker has no cholesterol and is low in saturated fat.
Don Russell: "Cheddar-flavored Zings were a hit at our house. Our children devoured the crispy crackers in no time, claiming the crackers had tasty seasonings and flavorings. The kids also thought the crackers had pizazz and liked their shape. It looks Nabisco has fashioned another winner."Nihla Lake: "Good crackers! Nothing sleepy about these little `Z's'. The cheddar cheese variety was wide awake with flavor. The whole family loved 'em! The fat, sodium and price are all competitive with other brands. We'll buy them again."
Judy Slack Wilson: "These are THE cracker of the century! Ranch is the favorite flavor at our house, so when we tested the ranch Zings, we loved them. We have a new favorite cracker at our house."
Edyth Jensen: "These are a very crisp cracker. They didn't have enough onion flavor to just sit and munch on, but they did taste OK when placed on top of a bowl of hot soup. They would go well with a dip also. The family did enjoy them."
Linda C. Tingey: "These were obviously good - my 15-year-old devoured them so I got to taste only one. The price is a little high, but they're a very crisp cracker and worth buying again."
Rich Firmage: "These were great! They have just enough seasonings to make them a tasty snack. Because these crackers are shaped like a Z, my wife, a first-grade teacher, says they'd be great for any pre-school, kindergarten or first-grade class in learning and reviewing the name and sound of the letter Z. My wife loved them, and I thought they were OK."
Conclusion: Zounds! These are zee best crackers! They chimed zee bells of the testers for sure!
