Wallace H. (Wally) Parkin, 66, died February 17, 1992 in Sandy, Utah.
Born May 2, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kimball and Florence Hatch Parkin. Married Marilyn Bailey May 19, 1960. He was a field office manager for the Utah State Dept. of Highways. Veteran of World War II US Army where during his tour of duty he received the Purple Heart and the French Croix D'Guerre. Memeber of the DAV and American Legion. Also member of New Life Christian Center.Survived by: wife, Marilyn; children, Marc and Dan Parkin, Mrs. Ned (Linda) Oaks, Mrs. Bill (Lynne) Johnston, Mrs. Frank (Maria) Flack, Mrs. Colin (Wendy) King, Mrs. Ken (Shanna) Ortiz; 16 grandchildren; mother, Florence
Parkin; brothers, Orin, Max, Bruce and Glen.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, 1992, 11 a.m. at Mt. View Memorial Estates Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services.
Burial, Mt. View Memorial Estates.
