Our devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Gwendolyn Rasmussen Payne, 57, died Feb. 23, 1992 in Salt Lake City.
She was born Jan. 19, 1933 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Que Erastus and Sadie Little Rasmussen. Married Robert M. Payne June 10, 1953, Salt Lake LDS Temple.Gwen is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Mrs. Rebecca (Carl) English, Sandy; Mrs. Christine (Nathan) Breinholt, Sandy; Clifford (Gayla) James Payne, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Maria (Kevin) Halper, Sandy; Jennifer Payne, Holladay; 11 grandchildren; mother, Sadie Rasmussen; sister, Helen Gallacher. Preceded in death by her father; one brother, Don Que Rasmussen.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Feb. 27, 1992, 12 noon at the Holladay 18th Ward, 2625 East Milo Way. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, and one hour prior to services at the church.
