Dallas was a kind, gentle and caring person, and was loved by all who knew him and at age 50, he passed away.
Born October 11, 1941, in Preston, Idaho, to Harold Hyrum and Marjorie Larue Walton Maughan. Raised in Weston, Idaho. Moved to a ranch in northwest New Mexico with his family, then came to Salt Lake in the 1960's. Member of the LDS Church. Active in the Boy Scouts of America's programs. He died on February 25, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.Survived by his mother Marjorie; a sister, Victory Crawford, Escalante; stepmother, Wyvonne Maughan, Brigham City; a stepbrother, Henry Kafton, Jr., also, Brigham City; three aunts, Bertha LaPray, Ione Maughan, and Winona Maughan; six nieces, Louise, Marie, Vickie, Mary Jane, Ruth and Rebecca; and four nephews, David, Michael, Rick and James.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 29, 1992, 11:30 a.m., at the Cannon Fifth Ward, 1250 West 1400 So., where friends may call for one hour prior to the service. Interment: Weston City Cemetery, Saturday, 3 p.m. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
