Loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and uncle, Matthew David Powell, 14, passed away February 5, 1992 in Sandy, Utah.
Born July 20, 1977 in Santa Clara, Calif. to David Leo and Linda Wardle Powell. Student at Eastmont Jr. High. Matt loved soccer, enthusiastic about life, honor student, concerned about ecology, loved his country, dearly loved his family and special niece Lynzi Nichole. "We love you Matt and we will miss you".Survived by parents, three sisters, Britney Ann Powell, Christina Leigh Simons, Tamsyn Nichole Powell; grandparents, Leo Wilbur and Kathryn Powell; niece, Lynzi Nicole Simons.
