Members of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 5200 S. 2700 West, will hold a dedication service for the new building on Sunday, March 29, at 3:30 p.m. Bishop Wayne Weissenbuhler and the Rev. Dick Magnus, both of the Rocky Mountain Synod, will attend. A buffet dinner will be served following the service, and all offerings taken that day will go to the three congregations in the Utah conference that don't have their own buildings.

St. Matthew's was formed a few years ago when Atonement Lutheran and St. Paul's Lutheran congregations merged. Members have met in several locations during the past few years, most recently at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
