NBC has announced it's dropping cartoons in favor of a Saturday edition of the "Today" show. It will, however, continue with live-action shows aimed at teens, like "Saved By the Bell."ABC, CBS and Fox will continue their cartoon wars. Here's a look at what to expect this fall.
ABC
The Addams Family is a new version featuring the voice of John Astin, who was Gomez in the live-action series.
Goof Troop, from Disney, features the bumbling Goofy, who's celebrating his 60th anniversary. This time, he's the single father of 11-year-old Max.
Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa is a take-off on old Westerns - but with bovine characters.
Returning this fall to ABC are "Bugs Bunny & Tweety," "Darkwing Duck, "Land of the Lost," "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" returns after a year's absence.
Dropped from the schedule are "Beetlejuice," "Hammerman," "Pirates of Darkwater" and "Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters."

Fievel's American Tails continues the story of the mouse family that starred in the movies "An American Tail" and "Fievel Goes West."
Disney's Little Mermaid is billed as a prequel to the movie, and will feature Ariel, Sebastian the crab and Flounder the Fish.
Disney's Raw Toonage will be a compilation of shorts featuring old favorites and new characters.
The Amazing Live Sea Monkeys isn't animated, it's a live action comedy about giant sea monkeys brought to life by a mad scientist played by series creator Howie Mandel.
Returning to CBS will be "Back To the Future," "Garfield," "Mother Goose and Grimm" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." The network canceled "Muppet Babies," "Ghost Riders in the Sky" and "Where's Waldo?"

Dog City, which was created by the late Jim Henson, follows the adventures of a canine private eye.
Eek the Cat is about a well-meaning but unlucky cat who lives with two "horrible" children.
Super Dave combines animation with live action, and features Super Dave Osborne.
X-Men is based on the comic book super-hero team.
Returning to Fox are "Bobby's World," "Taz-Mania," "Tom & Jerry Kids," and original episodes of "Tiny Toons" join the Saturday morning lineup.
In addition to "Tiny Toons," Fox's weekday cartoon lineup will include an all-new version of "Batman," a new version of "Merrie Melodies," and reruns of "Muppet Babies," "Tom & Jerry Kids," and "Beetlejuice."
