Four Arizona State basketball players have each been sentenced to two years' probation and 100 hours of community service for the fraudulent use of a university telephone credit card.

Senior guard Lynn Collins, sophomore guard Stevin Smith and sophomore forwards Dwayne Fontana and Jamal Faulkner pleaded guilty last month to a felony and could have been sentenced to 1.8 years in prison.According to the university's report, the four players, their girlfriends and other acquaintances charged $13,474 to the card number between August 1990 and September 1991.
