The newly opened Spokane River Centennial Trail runs from downtown Spokane to the Washington/Idaho border, a distance of 22 miles. Eventually the trail will be 37 miles long, starting at the Spokane House Interpreice Center in Riverside State Park 15 miles northwest of downtown. The paved trail is open to bicyclers and walkers and is fully handicapped-accessible.
