Richard Paul Jensen, age 26, died May 26, 1992, at the University Medical Center, of injuries sistained in an automobile accident. A sister-in-law, Ann Sperry Jensen, wife of Robert Jensen, also died in the same accident.

He was born July 28, 1965, in Provo, Utah, to Paul Bentley and Joyce McBride Jensen. He married Margo Steenblik, March 18, 1989, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Richard was a devoted husband and father. He graduated from Dixie High School in 1983, and from Dixie College in 1987, and from the University of Utah (Cum Laude) in 1989. He was presently a third year medical student at the U of U. He served a mission to the New York, New York mission. He was an avid fly fisherman.He is survived by his wife and son, John Kenneth, both Salt Lake City; parents, Paul and Joyce Jensen, St. George; grandparents,

Margaret Jensen and Gazetta McBride, both St.George; sister, Janel (Ronald) Baird, Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers, Robert, Provo;

Kenneth Ronald, serving a mission in Texas;

Russell M., St. George.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 1992, 11 a.m., in the 21st Ward, 2nd Ave `J' St. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, and Saturday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the ward.

Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
