KAYSVILLE-Merlin Hugh Roche, loving father, grandpa, great-grandpa and brother, age 88, died Monday, June 8, 1992, at his home.
Born April 13, 1904 in Thatcher, Utah, a son of Francis Allen and Sarah Ethel Bradford Roche. He was married to Viola Grace Peterson, July 29, 1927, in Blackfoot, Idaho; marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 22, 1977. He had worked for the Dow Chemical Co. for 41 years. Active member LDS Church. He had lived in Antioch, California for 45 years, and resided in Kaysville for the past 19 years. Merlin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Survived by two daughters, Marlene Daniels, Pleasanton, Calif.; Gloria Faerber and husband, William Francis, Kaysville; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Oliver Roche, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Funeral services Friday, June 12, 1992, 11 a.m., Kaysville 9th LDS Ward Chapel, 201 South 600 East. Friends may call at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Bothwell Cemetery, near Tremonton, Utah.
