Paolo Veronese's masterpiece "The Wedding at Cana," the largest painting in Paris' Louvre museum, suffered cuts in a mishap during restoration, officials say.

Scaffolding slipped and cut the vast canvas in four places as experts were checking that it was properly hung, officials said. The 30-by-20-foot painting, signed by the Venetian artist in 1567, weighs nearly two tons.
