Rhonda Cheryl Yvette Colvard, 25, died Sunday, June 21, 1992, at Alta Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, from brain cancer.
She was born January 25, 1967 in Simi, California. She was the daughter of Linda Kaye McDaniel Ballard and Roger Colvard. Raised in Ventura County, California, she moved to Logan, Utah in 1983 and then to Salt Lake in 1988.She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Wayne Nash; and a son, Russell Albert Perry Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Kaye Ballard, Salt Lake City; father, Roger Eugene Colvard; brother, Robert Lance Ballard; two half sisters, Cheryl and Jennifer. She had three children, JaNae Brook Colvard, daughter of Aaron L.
Barney; Christopher Brian Martin, son of Hugh Brian Martin; Jessica Ann Perry, daughter of
Russell Albert Perry; their godmother is Valerie
Wilson Hart; also grandparents, Ann Flanigan, Lompoc, Calif.; Reily S. Flanigan, Riverside, Calif.; Eugene and Jane Colvard; on her mother's side, surviving are uncles, Hal McDaniel and Sam Flanigan; aunt, Annette McDaniel, all of Lompoc, Calif.; on her father's side, five uncles and two aunts, all of Calif.; nephews, Derek W. Liebes, Dennis Anthony Nash, son of Christina Martinez Ornales.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a memorial service on Wednesday, June 24, 1992, 6 p.m. at the home of her mother, 3913 South 300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
