A confessed serial killer wants to take a second lie-detector test to clear him in any other slayings after failing his first polygraph examination.

Leslie Allen Williams, 38, who confessed to the rape-slayings of three girls and an 18-year-old woman, said Wednesday he told the truth during his lie detector test earlier in the day and wants to take another one to prove it.Williams told WJBK-TV in Detroit that he has nothing to hide because he plans to plead guilty to "all the charges in front of me" to spare the families of victims and his family the grief of trials.

Williams said he was asked many times whether he was involved in more killings in Michigan, elsewhere in the United States or in Canada. He denied any involvement but told the television station he failed portions of the polygraph test.

Investigators at the State Police post in Brighton and Oakland County Sheriff's Department refused to comment on the result of Williams' lie detector test.

Authorities have said they have no evidence to link Williams to other slayings.

The Sheriff's Department has had numerous phone calls from police in Michigan and other states who want to talk to Williams.

Police used a search warrant Tuesday to take a blood sample from Williams. Genetic information from the blood will be compared with that taken from other crime scenes.
