BROOKS HAS PLENTY TO SING ABOUT AS WIFE GIVES BIRTH

Sandy Brooks, wife of country singer Garth Brooks, has given birth to a baby girl.

"After this, nothing else matters," the singer said shortly after Taylor Mayne Pearl Brooks was born Wednesday night at a Nashville, Tenn., hospital.The baby, the couple's first child, weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Both mother and baby were reported fine.

The proud father "was right with her, by her side, in the delivery room," said Pam Lewis, Brooks' co-manager.
