To the editor:

A recent experience with two automotive service centers has restored some of my confidence in an industry plagued with unsatisfied customers and sometimes questionable ethics. While servicing my van, the service technician at Millcreek Garage accidentally damaged the sheet metal and paint on the driver door. After confirming the damage, I was told without hesitation or argument, to take my car to Marv's Body Shop for repair.

After I entered the cleanest body shop I have ever encountered, arrangements were made to make the necessary repairs. My questions concerning paint match, finish quality and final results were answered honestly and professionally. The next day, I returned to find my van cleaned, painted and restored to its original finish.

Throughout this experience, I was treated with respectful consideration and understanding. There was never a denial of responsibility or a shift of blame. Thanks to Millcreek Garage and Marv's Body Shop, my van not only runs extremely well, but it still looks good, too.
