We hope you've been paying attention.

This is Contest No. 7: Itty Bitty Salt Lake City, a test of your powers of observation and an invitation for you to take a closer look at downtown.What we want you to do is identify the 21 pictures on this page. They're parts of buildings, fragments of signs, pieces of statues - the little details that make Salt Lake City more than just another mid-sized urban center on the edge of a vast inland sea.

If you haven't been downtown in a while, the Deseret News and the Downtown Alliance invite you to bring the family, park your car, stroll the sidewalks and look around. All 21 items are located in a 30-block area bordered by North Temple St., 400 South, 400 West and 200 East.

Grand prize for identifying all 21 itty bitty city things correctly is a big night on the town, includig a room for two a the Salt Lake City Marriott, dinner at BAci, tickets to the Utah Symphony and breakfast the next morning at Allies in the Marriott.

Two second prizes will be awarded: a $100 gift certificate to Crossroads Plaza ant a $100 gift certificate to the ZCMI Center.

Third prize is dinner for two at the Pierpont Cafe.

Rules:

1. Identify the 21 photos on this page. You will probably need to take this page with you as you walk around downtown.

2. All items are located in the blocks bordered by North Temple St., 400 South, 400 West and 200 East. Everything is located outside, within plain view.

3. Write down the exact location of each detail (either list an address or the name of a building/business/park/etc.)

4. Send your answers, along with your name, address and phone number, to:

5. Entries must be postmarked no later than Friday, July 31. Winners will be announced the week of Aug. 10.

6. If more than one entrant identifies all 21 photographs correctly, drawing will be held to choose the grand prize, second and third place winners.
