A Cottonwood Heights man was killed Saturday when he lost control of a motorcycle and rolled into the median.

Kenneth Dean Pitcher, 45, was driving the motorcycle on I-80 when the accident occurred just before 7 p.m. about three miles north of Wanship.Pitcher apparently was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to make a turn in the road, according to a Utah Highway Patrol report.
