FREMONT, California-Kenneth Harlan Boyer, age 67, died Sunday, July 26, 1992 in a Fremont, California hospital from a lingering illness.He was born March 28, 1925 in Springville, Utah to Harlan William and Florence Christiansen Boyer. He married Bonnie Andrus on October 2, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He received his education in Springville schools and was graduated from Springville High. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked for United Airlines in Aviation Mechanics and retired in 1990 as an engineer after 33 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as financial clerk, manager for the Bishop's Storehouse and Stake Extraction coordinator. He enjoyed classical music, painting, photography, computers and investments.
Surviving are his wife of Fremont; and father of Springville; two sons and two daughters, Terrie and Keith Coleman of Riverton, Utah; Mike and Sharon Boyer of Stockton, California; Jim and Lisa Boyer of West Jordan, Utah; Marie and Marcel Bluth of Salt Lake City, Utah; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one son, Bobby Boyer, preceded him in death. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Beverly Bearnson of Spanish Fork; Blaine M. Boyer of Fremont, California; L. David Boyer of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Karen B. Helm of Garden Grove, California.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Huff-Linde Funeral Chapel of Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday two hours prior to services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
