Jane Hart Schipaanboord, 84, died July 5, 1992, in a Salt Lake hospital.
She was born July 19, 1907, in Ogden, Utah, to Pieter and Lucretia Tekelenburg 't Hart. She married Jacob (Jack) Schipaanboord, January 18, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Jane was one of the first sisters to serve an LDS mission to the Netherlands from 1937 to 1939. She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in the Primary and as a ward and stake Relief Society president in the Liberty Stake.Survived by husband, Jack; children and their spouses, Wayne and Tara Schipaanboord, Donna and Darol Denison, Dale and Jan Schipaanboord; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry, Edward and Clyde Hart; sisters, Thelma Hillier and Florence Champneys. Preceded in death by a brother, Earl Hart.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 12 noon, at the Liberty Park Ward, 445 East Harvard Avenue (1100 South). Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Wednesday 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
