Ernest James Burdett, 87 died Sunday, July 5, 1992.

Born July 17, 1904 in Evanston, Wyoming to Minnie Hortense Spence Burdett and Ernest George Burdett. Married Catherine Mary Carr July 6, 1931. Graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Pharmacy. Founded Burdett Associates, one of the nations's first manufacturers representative firms, in 1930. He remained active in the business until his death.Member of the L.D.S. Church. Member of Ft. Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club. Avid golfer and Utah Jazz Fan. He always had a good story to tell and a piece of candy in his pocket.

Preceded in death by his wife, Catherine in 1990; a son, Paul in 1935 and brothers, Marion S. and Howard J. Burdett. Survived by a son, Anthony Carr "Tony" Burdett and wife, Susan of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Susan H. Burdett, Memphis, Tennessee; Kimberli R. Burdett, Newport Beach, California; sister, Geneva H. Brown; brothers, Harold R., Karl G., and Ben W. Burdett all of Salt Lake City.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m., Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, where friends may call one hour prior.
