Barbara Clissold Taylor, 70, passed away Thursday, August 13, 1992 at the LDS Hospital due to complications from an illness.
She was born Dec. 5, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Edward and Lavaun and Irene Picknell Clissold. She was married in the Hawaiian LDS Temple and had her children in "The Islands." She served a mission in the Southern Far East with her husband who was a mission president in Hong Kong.Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her husband and her family, and all those who have known her. Our only comfort in her passing is knowing that she is finally with her earthly father and her Father-in-Heaven. Her test is over and she has endured to the end, her sweet, precious spirit is finally home!
She is survived by her husband, Robert S.
Taylor; daughters, Sherene Brostek, Salem, Oregon; Irene Lyman, Salem, Oregon; Jennifer Georgi, Huntsville; Patricia Taylor, Kaysville; and son, Sherman Taylor, Midvale; mother, Irene Clissold; sisters, Patricia Carlisle, and Carol Hall; and brother, Richard Clissold, all of Salt Lake City.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 1992, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
