Delmer Clark Stott, age 60, died at his farm in Spanish Fork, August 15, 1992.
Born January 19, 1932 in Myton, Utah, to Arthur Lees and Fannie Charlotte Day Stott. Married Mary Lois Conrad, May 28, 1957, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He received his education in Payson and Provo Schools. Graduated from Provo High School. Received a degree in forestry and range management from Utah State University. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 20 years, serving in Oregon, Utah, Arizona and West Virginia. He owned and operated a farm and orchard in Spanish Fork. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, for four years. Member of American Legion and Lions Club. Member LDS Church where he was a High Priest. Had served in the bishopric in Teasdale, Utah, and loved working with young men in the scouting programs. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and gardening.Survived by his wife, Spanish Fork; two sons and two daughters, Greg C. and Peggy Stott, Oscodo, Michigan; Wayne Conrad and Shelley Stott, King Salmon, Alaska; Geana and Kimball Croft, Mesa Arizona; Marilee and J. Lynn Partridge, Spanish Fork; 14 grandchildren; eight brothers and two sisters, Elvin Dennis, Richmond; Ervin Dennis, Provo; Devere Dennis, St. George; Willard Stott, Salt Lake City; Laurence Stott, Ogden; Arva Jones, Orem; Lyle Stott, West Springfield, Massachusetts; Arlo Stott, Las Vegas, Nevada; Leland Stott, Tucson, Arizona; LaVola Browning, serving an LDS Mission in Ohio. A brother, Verland Stott, preceded him in death.
Funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m., Salem Stake Center, 470 East Salem Canal Road. Friends may call at the church Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Huff-Linde Funeral Home.
