Wayne LaVarr Kelsey, 47, of Salt Lake city, died Tuesday, August 25, 1992.
He was born December 10, 1944 in Logan, a son of Roy W. and Leona Baker Kelsey. He had worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service for the past 19 years. He spent his youth in Ogden, but had lived most of his life in Salt Lake City. He received a bachelors degree from Weber State University. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Navy.Surviving are his parents of Ogden; a half sister, Mrs. Gordon (Rolene) Larsen, Grand Junction, Colo.; and a half brother, Mar Dell Godderidge, and his wife Fran of Ogden. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Family will meet friends at the mortuary Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Smithfield City Cemetery where graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m.
