Sunset Police Chief Phil Olmstead says reports of a breakthrough in the 10-year-old kidnapping and murder of Rachael Runyan are just rumors.

As the 10th anniversary of the unsolved murder passed this week, rumors arose that the department had a new suspect."We had a suspect three to four years ago and he is still on the list - and the only one," said Olmstead, detective in charge of the investigation.

Rachael Runyan was 3 years old when she disappeared from the Mitchell Park playground next to her home in 1982.

Authorities said she was lured into a car by a man who offered her bubble gum. Her body was later found in a stream near Trapper's Loop in Morgan County.
