Elva Flora Zimmerman Allen, 88 of Lehi, died Sept. 4, 1992, at her son's home in Salt Lake City.
Born Aug. 16, 1906 in Fremont, Cache Co., Idaho, to Suel and Flora Bushman Zimmerman. Married Owen William Allen, Oct. 2, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Aug. 20, 1933. She was a Postal Clerk at the Lehi Post Office for 33 years. Member of the LDS Church, had served as Primary president, MIA secretary, and a visiting teacher for over 50 years.Survived by one son, Harold James Allen and wife, Anne W., Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews whom she truly loved. Preceded in death by a baby daughter, Julia
Maureen.
Funeral, Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1992, 11 a.m., in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services.
Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
