Lucy Picco, age 90, died January 10, 1993 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born July 29, 1902 in Salt Lake City to James Besso and Sophie Shaff Picco. She graduated from Salt Lake Business College. Lucy served for 70 years in the LDS Sunday School organization and for 10 years on Sunday School General Board where she wrote instruction manuals.She retired from Morton Salt Co. in 1967 after 30 years of service as a stenographer and secretary. Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Besso, Victor, Orson, and Albert; and a sister, Josephine.
Funeral services Saturday, January 16, at 12 noon, Edgehill 1st Ward, 1750 South 1500 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening 7-8 p.m., and at the Ward Saturday, 11-11:45 a.m.
Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
