Aileen Taylor Bernecker, 91, died Oct. 13, 1993 in a Salt Lake care center.
Born Aug. 24, 1902, Salt Lake City, Utah, to Edward Allan and Louie Strong Taylor. Married Hugh Bernecker June 14, 1934, Salt Lake City, Utah, he preceded her in death, Feb. 18, 1981. She graduated from the University of Utah, was a lifelong member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, and Alpha Beta Theta Fraternity. Taught in Salt Lake City Schools.Survivors include a brother, Edward Taylor; four nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Taylor and a sister, Dorothy Nelson.
Private graveside services will be held in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Her family suggests contributions in her name to the University of Utah College of Health Sciences.
