Dear Do-It Man: I read an article in the Deseret News about a video for kids from 5 to 12 years old. The video is called "Piggy Banks To Money Markets," and it discusses how money is printed, how banks and businesses work, the purpose of an allowance, how kids can earn money and what they can do with it once they get it.
The article said the video was published by KIDVIDZ and costs $14.95. It was produced in association with the American Banking Association, the National Council on Economic Education and Inc. Magazine. It uses original songs, computer graphics and a cast of children to explain the ups and downs and ins and outs of earning, saving, spending and investing.
The video makes the connection between investing in baseball cards or having a lemonade stand to adult money activities like bank loans, writing checks or starting a business.
The article failed to mention where to purchase the video. Can you find out? I don't gave a clue.
