Dail Daniel Nielson, 16, died October 28, 1993 while climbing Mt. Sorak in South Korea.
He was born April 20, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah to G. Barrie and Kathryn Jean Ricksecker Nielson. Dan attended Hillcrest High School and was a priest in the Hillcrest 7th LDS Ward.He had many hobbies; some of his favorites were drawing, bike riding and camping with Aunt Joanie. Dan enjoyed traveling, especially touring Italy and France with Grandma Jean. Our family times will not be the same without Dan; we love him and will miss him greatly.

Preceded in death by Grandma Judy, Grandma Lilli, and Grandpa Rick.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 1993 at 12 noon in the Hillcrest Stake Center, 8485 South 1000 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the stake center from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the Nielson family respectfully requests contributions to the Daniel Nielson fund to assist in defraying expenses incurred in the return of Daniel's body from South Korea.
