The department of travel study in Brigham Young University's Division of Continuing Education recently presented program developer Debby Bennion with the division's Staff Excellence Award.
The award is given annually to the division's outstanding employee.An employee of the department of travel study since 1985, Bennion helps plan and develop educational travel programs in Central and South America and Europe.
In addition to these responsibilities, Bennion is involved with annual tours to church history sites in the United States, said George Talbot, director of Travel Study. Bennion has a bachelor's degree in family science from BYU and is enrolled in BYU's master of public administration program.
