The world is becoming too complex. It was so easy to form opinions just by reversing what the ACLU or the feminists or the environmentalists said, without the need of actually knowing what the facts were.
But now, the ACLU has said that pro-family conservatives probably have a right to voice their opinions, even if they aren't politically correct. And now, women activists have said that the hundreds of new laws slanted toward giving women "protection" and unfair advantages make women look like mindless dolts incapable of making decisions for themselves.
And now, the environmentalists have said that property rights and mineral rights should not be separate, since this allows mining companies to trample virtually unrestricted all over property that belongs to someone else.
I'm worried. I agree with these ideas. What is the world coming to when you actually have to listen to the howling of the ACLU, women's rights groups and environmentalists because they just might be right?
