Loving husband, father and son, Brent Dee Larsen, 35, left us suddenly and unexpectedly November 24, 1993. Brent died at home from heart problems.

He was born July 9, 1958 in Springville, Utah to Max and Lavern Sanford Larsen. Brent graduated from Springville High School in 1976 and planned to get his RN degree. He was a licensed practical nurse and especially liked working with geriatric patients.Brent married Suzan Marie Belch, who he truly adored, March 21, 1992 in Salt Lake City. Their son, Ryan Brent, age 1, created special joy in his father's life.

Brent and Suzan met when they worked at the same nursing facility. Although Brent was a quiet man, he spent hours talking with Suzan after work and they quickly fell in love. He was a devoted husband who reminded his wife of his love for her in many ways, and they had wonderful plans for what they thought would be their long lives together.

Besides his wife and son, Brent is survived by his mother, Lavern Larsen of Springville with whom he had an especially warm relationship; four brothers, Leon (Carolyn) of Springville; Hal (JoAnn) of Lubbock, Texas; Dennis (Rose) of Santaquin; and Wayne of Orem; his mother and father-in-law, Fred and Amelia Belch of Salt Lake City; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 29, 1993 at 1 p.m. at the Kolob 7th Ward Chapel, 840 South 400 East, Springville, under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Suzan Larsen and her son to help with this untimely loss.
