Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Theo Mickelsen Mortensen, 75, passed away November 26, 1993 at her home in Richfield, Utah.
She was born January 20, 1918 in Redmond, Utah to Archie Cnute and Caroline Hansen Mickelsen. She married Clyde J. Mortensen March 6, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. He died July 12, 1988.She was a member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many auxilliary positions. She was an avid temple attender.
Survivors: one son, two daughters and their spouses, Nona and Norman Hinkins, Central, Utah; Marsha and Terry Christensen, Richfield, Utah; Ron and Sandy Mortensen, St. George, Utah; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; son, Bruce; brothers, Clifford Michelsen, Evan Mickelsen, Terence Jorgensen; and sister, Elva Christensen.
Mom was a very loving, caring and giving person. She gave freely of herself and her possessions to anyone she thought was in need. She will be greatly missed and will always be in our thoughts.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29, 1993 at 1 p.m. in the Richfield 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 200 West 400 North, Richfield, Utah. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
