Harold Nils Boe, passed away on February 6, 1993 in Napa, California.
A native of San Francisco, Calif., he married Sylvia E. Ohlson of Salt Lake City, on November 19, 1934, their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on August 3, 1956.Harold was a ceramic tile contractor, he worked in Richmond and Sacramento, Calif., and in Honolulu, Hawaii. Harold Boe was called to serve a labor mission for the LDS Church in Laie, Hawaii from 1956 to 1963. He helped with the construction of BYU-Hawaii, as well as the Polynesian Cultural Center and the remodeling on the Hawaiian Temple.
He has lived in Gold Beach, Oregon for the past eight years. He enjoyed fishing and golfing and was a member of the "Hole-in-One" club.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; son, Arnold Boe; and daughter, Barbara Lingwall; as well as 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Harold Nils, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 1993 at 1 p.m. at the LDS Chapel on 1250 West 4375 So., Murray, Utah. Friends may call at the church on Friday beginning at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be at Memorial Estates in Salt Lake City. Arrangements are under the care of Treadway & Wigger Funeral Chapel in Napa and local arrangements are being cared for by Memorial Estates in Salt Lake City.
