Our loving mother, Mildred Levedahl Radford, 86, died Friday, February 12, 1993 in Ogden of causes incident to age.
She was born June 25, 1906 in Ogden, a daughter of Joseph W. and Caroline Hess Levedahl. She was a life long resident of Ogden. She obtained her Associates of Art at Weber College in 1926, and her Bachelor of Education at the University of California at Los Angeles in 1930. She had taught school at Polk Elementary from 1926-1928. She married Eugene E. Radford November 25, 1932 in Los Angeles, California; marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 18, 1988. She was a member of the LDS Church Ogden 43rd Ward. She had taught Primary and Sunday School for many years, she had also been an ordinance worker in the Ogden LDS Temple for 14 years.She is survived by a son and a daughter, Edward E. and wife Judy Radford of Salt Lake; Eda Nell Radford Checketts of Ogden; four granchildren, Rich E. Radford, Milwaukee, Oregon; Robyn Radford Nielsen, Salt Lake; Allison Checketts and Joseph W. Checketts, both Ogden. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren; a brother, Blaine H. Levedahl, Esparto, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., where friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Interment: Ogden City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Carolyn Russell for her many hours of loving care.
