Max Howard Bennett, age 69, died February 19, 1993 from complications of a heart attack while galavanting in Denver, Colorado.
Born February 13, 1924 in Bliss, Idaho, a son of Howard Leslie and Hilla Durfee Bennett. Married Alta Lorraine Griffin in February, 1944 in Salt Lake City; later divorced. She died in March, 1987. Married DonaRae Liddle January 1, 1972 in Kearns.Member LDS Church. The things that gave him the greatest pleasure in life were his family, bowling, crocheting and galavanting.
Survived by his wife; children, Mrs. Ron (Karen) Ketterer, West Valley City; Shannon Bennett and Claudia Mills, both of Kearns; Mrs. Ellsworth (Janine) Moon, West Valley City; Michael Lane and wife Jayne Bennett, South Salt Lake; Brian Leslie and wife Samantha Bennett, West Valley City; Bruce and wife Lynn Robinson, West Jordan; Gaylon Winward, West Valley City; 29 grandchildren; 91/2 great-grandchildren; stepmother, Annabelle Bennett Stewart; sisters, Dolores (Dodie) McLaughlan and Betty Synowiecki; brothers, Richard Dean Bennett, Vern Arnold Bennett, Monte Joel Bennett, and Jack L. Bennett. Preceded in death by daughter, Gayle Winward; granddaughter, Debbie Bennett; brother, Emmert L. Bennett.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12 noon, at Kearns 16th Ward, 4660 West 5015 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
