Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Jeneen Johnson Ball, age 54, passed away peacefully February 23, 1993, at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, of cancer.

Jeneen was born December 7, 1938, in Nogales, Arizona, the daughter of William Bernard, Sr. and Josephine Brinkerhoff Johnson.She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and Redondo, California; then on to Provo, Denver, Colorado, and Salt Lake City. Jeneen married Norman Jay Ball on August 19, 1961 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Redondo, High (Calif.); BYU with a BS in Education; and the U of U with a masters in Education. Jeneen worked for many years for the Granite School District. She enjoyed quilting and knitting, and was a member of Quilters of Holiday. She also enjoyed the out doors, traveling and camping. Jeneen was a kind and loving individual who was devoted to her family and friends; she was held in high esteem by all who knew her.Survivors include her husband Norman, of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Tonya Ricucci, Harrogate, England; a son, Gregory Ball, Euschede, The Netherlands; her mother, Josephine, of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Jo Ann Hadden, Minneapolis, M.N., and Janet Stinson, Boulder, Colo.; and two brothers, Bernard Johnson, Mesa, Ariz., and Barry Johnson, Austin, Texas.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 27th, 10 a.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 E., where friends may call for one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Jeneen's name to the American Cancer Society, 941 E. 3300 So. (84106)
