Just minutes into the Utah-Fresno State women's basketball game, the only question remaining was how many points Susana Tauteoli would score. Tauteoli answered with a school-record 36 points (25 in the first half on 12-of-13 field goal shooting) and Utah romped to a 94-61 win over the visiting Bulldogs.

Tauteoli scored her record-breaking point from the free throw line, while the rest of the Ute starting lineup - including Mikki Kane-Barton, whose record she broke - watched from the bench. Kane-Barton shared the old record of 34 points. Tauteoli, who hit her first 12 shots, overshadowed Kane-Barton's 20-point, 11 rebound, 6 assist night.BYU 82, San Diego State 73

In Provo, Thais Kidd and Debbie Dimond scored 20 points each to lead the Cougars past the Aztecs. Aztec Michele Suman led all scorers with 22 points, all of them from the field. The only other Cougar to score in double figures was Jeanine Utley with 17.
