Della Tripp Weber died March 12, 1993 in American Fork, Utah.

She was the daughter of Louis Tripp and Dezzie Shoell of Murray.Della was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, including Ella Tripp Mortenson, an identical twin sister. She is survived by her husband, William E. Weber, a daughter, Joy Ella Brown, Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Bill and Della were married December 20, 1924 in Salt Lake. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married 68 years.

After earning a teaching degree from the University of Utah, Della taught elementary school for a few years before marriage and family duties intervened. She continued to work as a substitute teacher and a supervisor for a clothing manufacturer. During World War II, Della worked in a munitions plant to support the war effort.

Della has served in many callings as a member of the LDS Church, and was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, March 15, 6-8 p.m. and again March 16, 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in Murray. The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 16, 12 noon at Jenkins-Soffe.
