Robert Louis Moore, our loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather, to his nine precious grandchildren passed away on March 27, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born September 29, 1933 in Midvale, Utah to Elmer D. and Louise Anna Carlson Moore. Married Grace Varoz on April 24, 1967 (our miraculous second chance). He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, later worked and retired from P.I.E. Nationwide. Most recently, he was office manager for L & L Associates, his sons' business.He has been a wonderful husband, father, friend and an inspiration to all. His unending love, giving all that he could to his wife, three sons, and daughter, nurtured our lives to this day. Bob fostered courage, pride and has, and always will be our protector.
Survived by his wife, Grace; daughters, Kelly Lee Moore, Salt Lake City; Rebecca (Phillip) Endicott, Denver, Colorado; sons, J. Leo (Carol) Lovato, Yorba Linda, California; A. Bruce (Nancy) Lovato; West Jordan, Utah; and Christopher (Ellyce) Lovato, Sandy, Utah; his mother, Louise Anna Trolin; brother, David D. Moore, both Salt Lake City; his grandchildren, Laurie, Kristine, Candace, Nicholas Moore, Jacqueline, Meredith, Robert Lovato, also Courtney Grace and Geoffrey Endicott, whom he loved with passion and pride; nephew, David S. Moore; niece, Michelle Stelter, both Salt Lake City; and his scottie, Hug-Some-Moore. Preceded in death by his sister, Mary Louise Moore.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Clyde Bench, Dr. Darrell Hensleigh, Helen Cookson, our caring Hospice Nurse, all our relatives and friends for their love and support in respecting Bob's wishes.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, April 1, 1993 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So. Highland Drive, where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon prior to services. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery with military honors.
