Wilma Nettie Potter, age 60, of Salt Lake City, died Monday, March 1, 1993 at her daughter's home in Genola, Utah.
She was born February 14, 1933 at Lawton, Oklahoma, a daughter of George Lafayette and Edith Emma McNaught Potter. She married Alexander Gene Salazar in September of 1953 at Lodi, California. They were divorced in 1973.She loved caring for people as a home health care aide.
She is survived by 5 daughters and their spouses: Mona and Robert Czarnik, Genola; Kathleen and Brent Hayes, and Johanna and Grant Mackay, all of Salt Lake City; Theresa and James Herman, North Carolina; and Jana and Sam Ngirmekur of Colorado. 15 grandchildren. (She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Salazar, and two brothers and a sister.)
Family graveside services will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the Payson City Cemetery, 805 East 400 North, under the direction of Walker Mortuary.
Those of us left behind take solace in our hearts knowing she has been met in heaven by all those who have been touched through her services while here on earth.
