Edwin Allen Burwell, 40, died April 12, 1993 in Salt Lake City following a heart attack.
Born Dec. 21, 1952 in Richmond, Virginia to John Allen and Bertha Burwell. Married Retha Thornton, Sept. 16, 1975 their marriage later solemnized in the Washington D.C. Temple. He was a respiratory therapist for Primary Children's Hospital. Member of the LDS Church where his greatest joy for the gospel was fulfilled serving his Heavenly Father with his Tongan brothers and sisters. We will miss you dearly, ALOHA.Survivors, wife, Retha and three children, Venita and Darcel, and devoted daughter LaSonya.
Funeral services will be Monday, 11 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 West, where friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior on Monday. Interment in the Lake Hills Memorial Park.
