GLOVER HOPES TO BE LETHAL AS A WEAPON VS. SMOKING

Danny Glover has been hopping planes to help enforce the law on cigarette sales.

The actor is participating in "Support the Law - It Works," a nationwide campaign sponsored by R.J. Reynolds to curtail the sale of cigarettes to underage smokers."It's an effort to discourage kids from smoking," said Glover, who was in Little Rock last week for appearances at an elementary school, a supermarket and on behalf of the United Negro College Fund.
