Susan Elizabeth McKeand Butler, age 46, beloved wife and mother, returned home to her Heavenly Father April 17, 1993.
Born April 14, 1947 in Erie, Pennsylvania to James N. and Mary Jane Bock McKeand. Married Larry Butler August 23, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas. Reared and educated in California, she later received her degree in accounting from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.Susan resided many years in Colorado after her marriage. For the past seven years, she lived in Alaska, where her husband was assigned with the federal government, moving to Utah in the Summer of 1992.
Loving wife, mother and devoted Christian, Susan loved the outdoors, animals and spending time at the family ranch in Colorado.
Survived by her husband, Larry, and daughter, Jenna, of Centerville; and a son, Robert, of Midvale. Also surviving is her mother, Mary Jane McKeand; sister, Peggy Jarvis; brother, James McKeand, Sacramento, Calif.; brother, David McKeand, Livermore, Calif.; and sister, Deborah Whaley, Prineville, Oregon.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 20, 1993 at Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, Bountiful, Utah. Interment will be in Montrose County, Colorado.
Susan will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
